Does Baby Kneez material has some friction against the ground as most of our homes in Asia have either tiled flooring or wooden flooring?

Baby Kneez don't use any grip on the knee pads for 2 reasons:

1. They interfere with their crawling movement because the stickiness from grippy material makes it hard for them to shuffle across the floor. When babies crawl, they don't pick up their knees, they shuffle with their legs.We did a study using over 50 babies and this is what we discovered (the technical information):
   
   When a baby first learns to crawl, they don't have the coordination mastered yet and they are just learning to properly place their legs and hands beneath their torso. I guess they kind of look like Bambi at first! Within a couple of weeks of figuring it out, they slowly learn to crawl properly with their hand and legs beneath their torso.
   
   Regardless of what they are wearing, like pants etc., they will slide around at first, but when they master crawling, the sliding will stop. Alot of the sliding around is due to the weight displacement and not so much the material covering their legs. So yes, they will slide around at first when they learn to crawl but once mastered, the knee pads will not contribute to continue sliding around.

Yes! Baby Kneez are breathable and absorbent. They are soft but very durable and can be washed many times and are still perfect
